mfa programs

i'm trying to weigh the pros and cons.
(if you have any information regarding this topic, please leave me a comment!)

what programs fully fund their students? i have decided to narrow my search starting from there; I simply cannot go into debt for another artistic/academic degree. Also, should I take the GRE? It seems that some programs require it, others do not... but perhaps it I would be more likely to get funding if I scored well?

So far I am considering:

University of Montana
Brown
Iowa Writers Workshop
Michener (hell, why not)
Syracuse University
Cornell
NYU // Columbia // The New School (perhaps, gotta look into funding first)
